Noun Phrase ( Exercise 3)
The noun phrase a group of words that ends with a noun. It can contain determiners like the, a, this, few, some, any, etc.
The example sentences:
there are (less / fewer) students in this room than in the next room.
Why i choose fewer because the room can be counted and less just cannot be counted like milk, sugar, and etc. But less sugar it is possible non-count nouns.
And the example 2 :
I would (a few / a little) salt on my vegetables
I choose a little because salt is setences of count and non-count nouns, if you choose a few this noun count, what a salt can be count? Mybe no. Because a salt not be counted, so you must be a little.
